Kali Uchis Shows Off Bare Baby Bump at Album Release Party
The American singer and songwriter, Kali Uchis, joyfully announced the news of her first pregnancy with her longtime partner Don Toliver, last week. The 29-year-old musician is pregnant with her first child. On the same day was the album release party of her latest album ‘Orquideas.’ the new album by Kali Uchis was showered with praise and compliments from popular critics. She also welcomed what she termed a ‘new era’ of her career. With beaming happiness as a result of joyful news waiting her way, she and Don merged from a listening party from Orquides last week. The singer was dressed up in a lacy, powder-pink-colored crop top that was designed to resemble a corset but allowed her to flaunt her growing belly.
The blouse she wore rendered a perfect contrast to her see-through skirt, and she completed the look by wrapping herself in a fleece-lined off-white jacket. On the other hand, her long-time boyfriend Don Toliver donned a splashy sweater and a pair of camo trousers. He is a rapper who featured in Travis Scott’s album, Astroworld. The couple was seen previously going out to dinner at Nobu Malibu, the Japanese restaurant famous for being a Kardashian hot spot. The singer matched her outfit with a pair of statement trousers with a black bandeau, putting her baby bum proudly on display as she crossed the parking lot.
The rapper on the other hand went for a super comfortable and casual look. He wore a pair of white shorts pairing it up with trendily oversized boots for his latest dinner date. The duo got linked up with each other back in 2020 but there was no public announcement of their relationship. In 2021, Don Toliver dropped a few hints when asked what he was looking for W. This confirmed their relationship rumors. In the magazine interview where he took off the curtains about the couple’s romance, he said, “We’re not crazy public or nothing like that, we just vibe.”
The pair dropped the pregnancy news last week through their Instagram handle where Kali posted a carousel of photos that included footage of the pair attending Kali’s ultrasound appointments. In one of the photos, Don lowered down to tenderly kiss and caress the baby bump as Kali Uchis stood in front of him at the doctor’s office.
In the caption they shared in the joint Instagram post about pregnancy revelation, they said that they are eager to meet the little bundle and shower the baby with love and care. They are quite impatient and want to share a life with their baby as soon as possible. She took the same level of excitement to her Instagram stories and said that her life’s biggest moment was when she heard the first heartbeat of her baby. The singer of the Telepatia song added, “Since then, our new little family has already taught me a love I’ve never known. To a lifetime of more greatest moments.”
