Her concert film is registering very good advances in India and is set to take a pleasant box office start. The concert film that made its world premiere in the US and most other parts of the world last month, turned out to be a massive income as it grossed over USD 90 million in its very first weekend. Since then, it has achieved immense income over USD 150 million in the US and over USD 200 million worldwide.

Around 25,000 tickets in top national chains for the opening day have been booked whereas for the opening weekend, 85,000 tickets have been sold. For a concert film, these are record numbers in the nation. The estimated weekend collection of the concert film is around 5-6 crores gross which is USD 600k and this here defines the sheer power of fans or the ‘swifties’ on display. 

The release of this movie might pose a threat to the ongoing movies in the theatres. Even with the new releases in the theatres such as ‘The LadyKiller’ and ‘Aankh Micholi,’ it is seen that Taylor Swift’s movie is not facing any immediate threats. The concert film has emerged to be the second most preferred film on the ticket booking platform as of today, November 3.

This tour depicts the discography of Taylor Swift in 10 different acts conceptually. It shows the performances of the most songs according to the tour’s standard set list with several songs cut to summarize the three-and-a-half-hour show in a shorter runtime. 

The commencement of the Eras Tour took place in Glendale, Arizona, on March 17, 2023, which is expected to end in 2024. Each show spans a period of three and half hours with a set list of 44 songs divided into 10 distinct acts that conceptually portray Swift’s ten studio albums. The tour was a commercial success and received critical acclaim. It became both a cultural and economic phenomenon, strengthened by globally unparalleled ticket demand and fans’ craziness.
